Astrology Transits: Will Your Heart Betray Your Conscience?

Energetic shifts can really affect us, and I am finding this journey though my body and health is also heavily affected by the sky. The Nodes shifted into new signs, and I think I’m feeling that, the basket, and the upcoming Full Moon energy, and all to say that I am anxious, nauseous, and I have a lot of calm energy flowing through me, but also I am agitated and uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to sort myself out, amongst the other stuff (chemo, fatigue, exercise, heat) and finding myself a hot emotional mess. There’s nothing to point to directly, just mounting pressure, frustration, annoyance, and there are definitely realities that I can pull into this/ reasons for me to feel this, but truthfully my inner inquiry seems to be responding to something I can’t name. As a Moon ruled human, I’m going to guess that this upcoming Full Moon is the culprit because it is partnering with Pluto and Jupiter to give us a KAPOW of energy and power shift. So there is definitely some friction brewing, some heat to put out, some shifting seas. We are in process. Here are the timestamps:

Yesterday–Saturn, the Lord of Karma– stationed retrograde. So there was a vibe of slowness and review in this area of your chart, something making you do some inner work regarding yourself, your identity, your wild expression. This isn’t a small thing, the energy of Saturn stationing retrograde in Aries has us contending with core identity work; internally. There is this feeling or limit on what you can truly express, and there is a stop to what you can actually do, and this feeling is there. This work feels overwhelming and long.
The Nodes also moved into new signs. South Node moved into Leo at 29 degrees (crisis degree of Leo) looking at a reduction of the area and patterns in this part of your chart versus the increase in the 29 degrees of Aquarius part of your chart. What does that mean? Did you notice any pull from between the part of you that wants to be seen and feels leadership, and the part of you who wants to blend in and walk amongst the others? Do you feel a part of something, or alone in the crowd? Will your conscience betray your heart? Will your heart betray your conscience?
There’s a new imperative blinking at us in some part of our life and it feels different. This starts a whole new eclipse story that will unfold soon.
Today as I write this, Leo Sun opposes Aquarius Pluto, sextiles Gemini Uranus, and trines Aries Neptune. There’s a lot going on, a lot coming to the surface, and powerful ideas surfacing. There are patterns to recognize, and there are messages coming from the deep. We have the opportunity to do something with this crazy intensity we are managing. We are becoming clear on our role in the collective, or where we stand in it, and we have an invitation to clear a pathway, or support the dream.

In the early morning of July 29th we will have the Aquarius Full Moon, that’s some pressure mounting. This is the fever pitch of the whole vibe, as we let the air hang, with Pluto in the mix. Our bodies might unearth some real surprises. Old injuries could come to say hello, there might be a systemic chug. There is so much intensity to be felt in our bodies as the Sun conjuncts Jupiter in Leo. This is a day of faith, Sun and Jupiter pull us into our idea of ourself, our expression of self. Moon and Pluto pull out power from the body’s system, and distribute it around. There is this idea of massive tension bringing us to an offering, but Venus in Virgo squaring Gemini Mars has some relationship crunch. There is this sense that we know what we value, we know what is sacred. What is real and what matters. But are we barking up the right tree, chasing the right mouse? This mutable square is ruled by Mercury in Cancer, so there’s still this brain/body/ emotional stuff, and, well, there’s something to work out here.
There are stories that our brains tell us that relate to safety– from a standpoint. But there is also the message from the body, that relates to safety, and we’ve been trained, domesticated, drugged, and told we were crazy when our body tells us that we are not safe. Cancer is the sign of safety and relates to our belly brain, the animal in you that knows how to keep your babies safe. What your babies are, that’s up to you. But your body is related to the Moon, and it knows things, and grows things. So this energy, it’s to help us contend with our own growth, it’s to help us sort this all out. What does the body want and need to feel safe? What does the mind need to feel safe? (this one is tougher because the mind likes things to be easy, consistent, and even)
This energy might grab you if you have planets or points in its degree. But also, it might just be personal, with Saturn’s retrograde in the background, reminding you that there is still identity work to do, things you are ignoring. There is this link between your brain and your belly brain, and it’s likely in play right now.
The next Moon cycle will be eclipse season. As if things haven’t already been crazy enough. But understanding the different parts of you that are reacting to different parts of the story can be helpful.
