The week opens with some major Cancer Moon work. Cancer never gets enough credit for its style and design savvy, it’s got artistic chops all over the place. Let’s focus on that today, the intuition and the art, rather than the deep emotional storehouse of past hurts. With C-Moon in domicile, it squares Libra Venus in its domicile, artistic genius could hit! Beauty can be created. If not, perhaps there is an emotional connection that needs to be reconciled or felt. With Moon’s trine to Pisces Neptune, this is hard to understand. A deep feeling, yearning, or hurt that is pulling out of your bloodline, or ancestry could be happening, or a deep spiritual download could be looming.
Libra Sun is taking its air spirit and helping Gemini Mars do something smart, witty, or bravely curious. Stuff will get done, hopefully it’s the right stuff? When Cancer Moon squares this beautiful, connective relationship sun, it may shine light on what feels deeply unfair, or unjust. This could be personal or based in your community.
Cancer Moon then opposes Capricorn Pluto, as it does once a month. Will its sting render us speechless, or will we be left alone with a stunning realization about our parents, our lineage, our homes and jobs, or our family? Something about the balance of power will be felt on a deep level. This can be a simple “that’s why I hate spinach” moment, or something much deeper, linked to your place in time.
Leo Moon then trines Aries Jupiter at 0 degrees making a fiery spiritual moment of brave, heart-based inspiration. This will affect your belief system and the construct in which you feel and see your world. Probably–it will have to do with more than your hair. Try to keep the brattiness to a minimum– just because you feel big feels doesn’t mean you should act on those feelings.

Our brave heart is boosted by our identity wounds. Perhaps we have a chance today to really be solid for someone we love, or deliver some understanding. Perhaps our identity wound gives us strength to stand alone, despite the emotional baggage of being a human. Either way, our big feels are aided by our Chiron wound. Perhaps the wounding gives us the emotional maturity to cope with something difficult or transcend a pattern.

Fixed squares, in my experience, feel a lot like blockage. But they act a lot like really seeing things through. The difference (in my case) is often impatience and my absolute resistance to being “stuck.” I make myself stuck with my fear of being stuck. Let’s call it 8 of swords energy. Taurus North Node is taking us through our future goals, and there is fine tuning to do. Leo Moon gets our hearts involved.
Uranus gets in there to deliver some sort of surprise as Moon and Saturn face off. This fixed T square will have emotions running, friction and the reality of time and society trying to find structure and dependability. Uranus will dish out some unplanned, non-linear hijinks. Remember, when Uranus is involved with a hard aspect, it could affect your online self, so try to think things through. You can’t really plan for it but you can look at what else is going on.
Libra Mercury opposes Aries Chiron, so we’re dealing with our wounding and our communications and brain, there could be anxiety here in the way we are dealing with another. Libra likes fairness and balance in its communications, but Aries Chiron wants to know itself, and carries that mantle from deep within.
Venus is very close to the Sun in Libra– this becomes exact on the 22nd. But today, it's in an exact square to Pluto. Pluto is the god of endings and transformation, and lending his chaotic touch to our relationships and connective impulse before Venus comes through as an evening star in a few days. This touch from Pluto today– just before going fully into the Sun– is asking us to finish something up, and clear something out, in order to be reborn. When Venus emerges, she’ll be in Scorpio, and this is the sign of her detriment.
Venus and Sun want us to really “get into” Scorpio season, so let’s look at the balance of power today that is affecting us. What is finishing up, ending, or are you being faced with letting go of?

Big feels and bold action make for some transformative endings, turning up of the soil at its roots, power plays and vulnerability moments. Will you be questioning your societal role? Will you find yourself contending with what it means to act with integrity?
Venus gets closer to the sun where she is unseeable in its light. What exactly does that mean? Our feelings will be hard to distinguish from ourselves. We are about to integrate, fully the lessons from the last Venus cycle and begin another one.

Perfectionist Virgo Moon is helped by some karmic North Node energy. Will your finances and connections get a boost? Virgo Moon wants to serve and Taurus North Node is teaching how to receive. Trusting and waiting is not Virgo Moon’s core competency. Speaking of receiving, Taurus’s ruler Venus is fully immersed in the yang energy of the Sun and almost complete in her divine transformation. What is coming to you today and tomorrow? Our brains might be a bit in overdrive trying to understand what’s going on because of Mercury ruled Gemini Mars and Virgo Moon– they want to make sense of things but the downloads are BIG and felt in the body, in our actions. Venus is receiving the biggest energy induction of all tomorrow.

This day is a big one, as Saturn goes direct and has an easier time putting up boundaries and living according to reality. It gains some mental clarity and quickness with its air friend, Libra Mercury, who is not great at making quick decisions, and is better at weighing the pros and cons into eternity. That could be a “record scratch” energy in the area of our charts ruled by Aquarius, for a momentary “what on earth do I do?” Finally the “results” of everything we’ve been doing in the collective, and for the larger purpose might be expressing itself more clearly, and that clarity could cause a momentary freeze. However, the rest of today’s astrology won’t have you stuck for long.
Venus has culminated its cycle and has disappeared into the sun, becoming completely aligned with it in a Superior Conjunction. This is like a “full moon Venus” culmination, where we see how our connections, preferences, and the way we’ve operated our Venus for the last while has come to a reveal. In a way, it could be seen as “harvest time” for our connections, relationships, and how we’ve been doing Venus.
How will your relationships be re-born? Something might have to change. How will you connect differently with others moving forward, while still infused with your own spirit? We’re at a 29th degree of Libra, the point is being driven home by being in the last degree of this Venus-ruled sign, that is all about fairness, equality, and being in relationship.
We have the T square demanding some kind of action, and perhaps it’s verbal. Gemini Mars is the apex and being squared by spiritual and confusing Neptune with service oriented and perfectionist Virgo Moon. There is an overwhelming, and possibly hypervigilant need to act, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try to consider our actions. Neptune obfuscates and Gemini Mars has too many viewpoints. Let our actions be guided by love and compassion, no matter what, and remember, on culmination day, to choose your words as carefully as possible.

As Venus and Sun enter Scorpio, we will now be focused on working through Plutonic themes of transformation. We may be freshly vulnerable, having walked out of a fire like a phoenix, or having shed a relationship, or moved through a particularly difficult transition in one. Today we are reborn, and we are dealing with things on a deeper, more intense level. If we have hurts, we are nursing them, or possibly only feeling them for the first time. We’re getting down to the brass tacks, and stripping away the fluff in our relationships and selves as a whole. This is fixed water energy, there are many emotions living here, some that want to be seen and may have very deep things to say about our lives. We are in the seat of our obsessions, our power structures, our vulnerabilities, and all the things that go bump in the night.
Do you have a kink, an obsession, an addiction, or a secret that has been ongoing? Has something from inside been quietly overtaking you, and destabilizing your peace? Whereas Libra season’s focus was fairness, balance, equality, and building out understanding, Scorpio season is going to make us sit in our mess a bit. We’re opening an eclipse portal next week, where we are going deeply into it. All of it.
This is a beautiful thing. Scorpio energy feels difficult for us because it shows us what's sitting inside of us. Scorpio doesn’t put impurities in the water, it actually, sometimes dramatically says “we need to deal with this.” The truth is, many of our coping methods for the traumas we experience bring us some kind of private pleasure. We sometimes are madly in love with the thing that keeps us the most stuck. We don’t want to let go of it, but we have to. How do we let it go? How do we keep our selves, and sanity, while cleaning our emotional fields?
Libra Moon opposing Aries Chiron asks us to look at our wounds in the context of our relationships, our patterns with others in relation to our lineage, and what we carry deep inside– as part of our personage. As we move into this dynamically deep Scorpio season, may we carry compassion and our mental idealism through this time that is guaranteed to grant us loss.
