Astrology Transits for December 1st-10th: On The Verge of Big, Huge Explosive Change

Loves! It’s been a while since I had the space and time to write to you, I found myself extremely busy with my first ever event: Healing Masculinity, which was
an astrological journey into the opportunities surrounding next February’s entrance of Saturn and Neptune into Aries.

The perfectionist in me (Virgo Moon & IC) wants to have content for every single aspect, but alas, there isn’t enough coffee in the world to keep me with enough energy to do everything I want to do! I’m grateful for what gets through and to those of you who support me in so many ways.
A lot of my work is around co-creating with astrology, and working with the lessons it teaches us. It’s really hard to be a human, and life can deliver us some brutal moments that we can spend days, years, decades fixated on (or is it just me?).
Astrology can help us find ways to process, discover opportunities to grow, and harness powerful points of mastery.

Did anyone else feel a turning point in the energy this month, or was it just me? The Grand Water Trine (still water trining as I write this) sure delivered a sense of hope that I desperately needed. For the first time in this HERMIT year I saw the promise of a real, developed social life; forgiveness, and redemption. I’m not there yet, but things are definitely starting to feel improved. I’m definitely starting to feel a thaw between myself and others that I haven’t accessed in YEARS. To feel just this micro bit of hope is a very big deal, and in all of this, especially in November, I achieved quite a lot, I must say!
I am trying to figure out how I can dedicate more of my time and efforts to this site and purpose. That means finding ways that I can spend more time on this creative baby that I’m committed to nurturing to be a real, upstanding, piece of my heart and soul in the universe. I am so grateful to all of you who have and continue to support me in many ways on this journey to make this baby thrive.
Many of us feel on the verge of big huge explosive change and that is accurate; changes are coming down the pipe astrologically and in our lived experience. The outer-world is becoming more and more of a circus and the current foundations of whatever was are crumbling. Many of us are holding on for dear life, or trying to figure out and build something that might work. Some of us are waiting for the other shoe to drop, and some of us are feeling the change coming and preparing for whatever that is, even if they don’t know. There’s some heavy Uranian influence with Uranus in Taurus at 29 degrees, and we have 3i Atlas paying us all a visit as a prequel to the future. Friends: we are on the verge.
Of who-knows what?
Hopefully you’re finding ways to find your real human essence in this age of AI and fakery. Hopefully you are discerning between hope and delusion, paranoia and defense, idealism and action. We have to work together and trust each other– and that means we need to bridge our polarizations as we cross the threshold of the year.

As I write this I am trying to learn all kinds of tech at the same time, November is closing out, and Saturn and Mercury have gone direct. If you have a Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn or Aquarius Rising-- or placements in these signs-- you might find things feel better or more manageable soon. You might also have gone through some big shifts in the last few days. I know I have.
December’s got more goodies in store for us, we’re in Sagittarius season which is usually pretty fun and busy, and Venus just entered the Sagittarian party to make things interesting. Deals are being forged and bets are being placed on next year. Where are you planting your flag? For those of you who participate in the Holy Days, you might find peace in knowing that we are all on the verge with you. We are all waiting to exhale.
Our healing Grand Water Trine continues with emotional cleansing and the outer planets are working together in aspect to help us move towards a dream with focus and cooperation. That doesn’t mean it’s fun. We are building up to a big, bold Full Moon so emotions might be fraught and our words might be careless.
On Thursday December 4th, we get to this climax or manifestation, that will hit you in the Gemini part of your chart. Feelings versus awareness, word can hurt and hinder-- and curiosity killed the cat. How are you emotionally engaging in what’s being said or reported, and what have you been saying? Has your truth been convenient, or selective? Have you spoken when you should or shouldn’t have? Something could come back to haunt you, or help you, depending on how much subconscious drove your actions. Did you spread the good word or gossip? Did you remain silent when you should have said something? Did you sit on the fence of morality? Scorpio Mercury rules this full Moon and is loosely opposite Taurus Uranus-- not known for subtlety– which will bring in disruption, breakthroughs, or free us somehow. Scorpio Mercury is also a solid player in the Grand Water Trine that’s been helping us with our emotional shrapnel.
TL:DR This Full Moon has an agenda, and we will feel some degree of lesson on this, if we need a course-correct. This is a spiritual check-in that could come with drama, arguments, and something being exposed. It could also bring a triumph of ambition, growth, and learning.
Friday December 5th has some T-square action with Sagittarius Sun squaring the Nodes in Pisces and Virgo, with a face-off between Sagittarius Mars and Moon, both squaring Pisces Neptune and Saturn. Expect there to be fallout from Thursday today. Some will be butthurt. Some will learn lessons. But also today there is this beautiful trine with Sagittarius Mars and Aries Chiron RX, suggesting that we might experience some healing, helping, and an ability to take action. This coupled with our earth trine, is the silver lining on this day. If nothing else, take the healing and tend to emotional tenderness like it’s your job (because it is.)
Saturday December 6th has more healing in store as Mercury perfects a trine to Jupiter in the Grand Water Trine, so we know that there will be understanding and growth from whatever emotional work we get done here. Really if you do an inventory of the healing that has occurred through most of November until now, especially emotionally, you might find some grace in all of the turmoil.
On Sunday December 7th, Mercury in Scorpio hits its point of greatest elongation and it trines Pisces Saturn, so we know we will have to do some spiritual work, but that work will be supported by Mercury’s distance from the Sun, so our brains will become superconductors in this healing and we might find ways to enmesh our cognition with emotional intellect. Or here’s hoping? This is a great time to notice what comes up from the deep swell of your emotions, and also a great time to mind that there is great sensitivity in all this knowledge. Emotions should always be handled with care, whether yours or someone else’s. Emotions can cause great harm, great righteousness, and great destruction if mishandled.
On Monday December 8th, Sagittarius Mars will square Pisces Saturn for some real frustration between our fire of ambition and enthusiasm and the wet blanket of emotional and spiritual reality, boundaries, and restrictions. We might not like the answers or limitations we get on Monday, and we might feel a total downer when it comes to our energy and chutzpah. It’s true that sometimes Sagittarius Mars can get carried away into the dream, and Saturn might just have to bring in the dogs. This is a feeling that’s going to be around for a day or two. There’s definitely crunchiness this week even though I have forward motion and movement.
On Wednesday December 10th, the big news is that Neptune will station direct, making this day likely confusing, misleading, or foggy. This is not the day to make decisions, or sign contracts, if that can be avoided. Also today Taurus Uranus and Scorpio Mercury make an opposition which suggests some breakthroughs, insights, and game changers- but this is going to feel frustrating at best, in the belly of all this foggy mist. Due to Mercury’s prominence this last month and Scorpionic digging, information can come to the surface that will affect everything- but check your facts, things aren’t always as they seem. Sagittarius Venus squares the Nodes on the exact degree the Sun was at during the Gemini Full Moon. Fate has something to tell us here about what we attract and where we are headed. Look out for easter eggs in relationships, financial decisions, and ambitions or anything regarding what you value. There is information here if you are ready to notice it.
And with that we kick off the last month of the year! What a year it has been and I feel blessed to say that I feel so much more hopeful than I did a year ago, or even at the beginning of 2025, despite the horrors that persist. I hope that’s the general feeling out there for all of you. There is something to build out there, despite the very real spiritual lessons we are learning about loss, certainty, love, and purpose. We are hanging on to this existence despite maniacs in power, and every day there is a beautiful smile, purr, birdsong, smell, moment– where all of life is worth the frustration, disappointment, and losses. I know it isn’t easy or fair out there, my friends. All I can say is that I’m glad we are building this new world together, and I’m honored to have your audience.
