Astrology Transits for May 18th-26th: We Are on One Crazy Ride

On Sunday we hit a checkpoint with our expansion of our beliefs. We are in throws of karmic lessons related to what we believe to be True. The South Node, the decreasing energy, will be about what we see and understand on the earthly plane, the mechanics of life. The North Node- the increasing focus, is in Pisces, which is spiritual and intuitive. So on Sunday there was a midpoint T-square with these Nodes, that would have filtered through Jupiter in Gemini. So– on Sunday did you come to a place with your lot in life? Did anything happen to make you think about where you’ve been, where you’re going, and the spirituality of it all? Did something expand in your belief system, faith or optimism?
On Tuesday May 20th, we had the Sun’s ingress in the grey zone of Gemini season. It’s hard to believe anything when Jupiter is Gemini, because there is a lot of communication, noise, and narrative. Nobody’s really listening to our words and words are increasingly used to manipulate. It feels like the arbiters of the Truth just paid more for marketing. So there’s a fair bit of skepticism going on right now in Gemini season, but Gemini season is here to help us remember to be curious, social, and to walk the line of duality. Gemini consciousness shines in small talk, pleasantries, and social buzz, in words, repartee, and whispers.
Gemini Sun is part of a minor triangle with Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, Saturn in Pisces, and also the North Node in Pisces. Some Truth is coming out this Gemini season, that’s for sure. The configuration I am seeing suggests that there are systems that are on the verge of collapse. There are overt systems, like the systemic and institutional dissolution that is going on in the US. But we also have social systems, organizations, local systems and workflows that might start to dissipate, or untangle. We are trying to keep what is valuable, and there might be something there to work with, and Pisces Saturn- at the last degree of the zodiacal wheel– will let us know what is under all those barnacles and algae, once everything is scraped off. We build from what is sturdy, sustainable, and what honors Truth… The rest was gone before we tried to save it.
This is the future. Gemini season will have us uncomfortably reaching for words and levity when– really–it’s all gone, Pete Tong. Our social curiosity, wit, banter, and playing in the grey zone will be less about fun and more about transition, as we are in the process of walking through the gate. Here are the timestamps:

On Thursday May 22nd, Aries Venus makes a trine with Leo Mars to make what we want flow in our connections, preferences, and reception. We are able to appreciate and actively move forward with our energy. This is a fiery spark, that moves, and it’s quite beneficial, and dare I say it– sexy. Mars is ruler of this Venus, so there is definitely some action being expelled; this Venus doesn’t like to wait. This energy puts the urge in urgency. In the background, the Moon will trace over this terrain of North Node, Saturn in Pisces, as well as Neptune in Aries, this journey is felt in the body, and there is plenty of beneficial juju supporting it. The Moon’s transit conjoining the players of the apex of this minor triangle is very communicative. It shines light and turns up what needs to be purified, and we will know it in our blood. We are still animals, last time I checked.
Saturday May 24th there is a lot going on and this day is going to play with us. There is a huge groundbreaking shift as Saturn moves into Aries to begin a new 30 year tour around the zodiacal wheel. Remember, Neptune just entered Aries as well– so these two are conjunct now in the same sign. This is kind of a big deal. This same day, Gemini Sun will trine Aquarius Pluto and Mercury will conjunct Uranus in Taurus. There is divine energy to access and field dimension to wade through as our consciousness will have no choice but to expand, and we will be energetically moved through some big astrology. This buzz has lots of benefit, but a bit of strain too. We have peeked through the blinds at the future, and there’s a lot to figure out. It’s bright out there.
When Saturn moves into Aries, we will all have to contend with a new round of lessons that go to the core of our identity and our imperative to be ourselves. There’s a wildness, and childlike innocence to our Aries self. Saturn is like the grandpa who sees more in you than you can see. There’s going to be this theme of rewilding ourselves with the care, intention and refinement of Saturn, but also in lock step with Neptune in Aries so there is some untangling to do. Dream big my friends! This tour of Saturn is here to lift us higher.
On Sunday May 25th, Mercury comes home to Gemini, where it does its best work. Mercury is the trickster, a curious and duplicitous god who likes to move. Mercury is social, but likes to parade, circle, and switch directions. There will be some intensity with Pluto in Aquarius making a beneficial trine through this journey. There is the touch of knowledge spreading. Something is starting to open up and we are getting closer to the Truth.
When Mercury is in domicile there is a rush of energetic knowing, especially for those that are sensitive to such energy. This can animate the spectrum more than usual, especially with Jupiter in Gemini, and there could be a big manic moment for some of us. Those of us who are filled with air may need to GET GROUNDED. The air out there will have lots of messages, so remember to breathe through it all, and return to your centre. Sometimes being human is just about holding it all, and living the best we can. This could be uncomfortable but trust the process. We’ve been building to this.
Monday May 26th is a blessed new Moon in Gemini. It’s happening conjunct Mercury, it’s ruler, and it makes a sextile to Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Even Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is in on this moment, it makes a trine as well as if to ordain this moment of transition with a beautiful reminder of our infinite potential. This new Moon has so much more juicy power in it, I believe this ending/beginning moment, for everyone personally, will anchor us in our social authenticity. There’s a lot of “I am” showing up for “you and me.” Jupiter in Gemini squares the North Node in Pisces. If ever there was a “buzz,” it’s this new Moon. Every planet is working together to give us some big intention-making energy. This new Moon is a potent time to set intentions
Many downloads are coming through this new Moon and leading up to it. We are on one crazy ride together. We are lucky we get to do it, and we are lucky we get to keep learning. Things have been so very hard for all of us in different ways, but there is a lot of good stuff to bring into the future. We should be so lucky to find ourselves with Sun on our shoulder, and a heartbeat. Even in the darkest moments, we find ourselves taking a big breath.
