Astrology Transits for the rest of June: Is the Dream Real?

Hello friends, this summer is really one for the books. There is so much goodness here, so much beauty available. Even though the things that are happening are happening. I don’t say this to whitewash the atrocities. I say this to focus the fight on what is beautiful. What is sacred. What is here and now and what is tangible and in front of us.
I say it because we are being asked to care for, create, and usher ourselves into a new world, and I want to call in the forces of Gaia, the healers, and the knowledge systems that have been teaching us. The medicine. The compassion. The love.
Different people have different visions.
Our job is to represent our vision.

The day I write this holds a square between the Cancer Sun and Aries Neptune, which is alchemy with powerful fire with powerful water. This energy has dream vibes with water-god Neptune at odds with fire-god Sun; what is conscious and what is subconscious, there might be a pull, or a slide between worlds. You might have found yourself in a different dimension, or frequency. Neptune really clouds our judgement and show us a dream, but is the dream real? Where’s the dream coming from? Cancer Sun feels its consciousness, it’s in the water and very attuned. There’s ideas of protection, belonging, nurturing, and confusion.
On Tuesday June 24th Jupiter goes cazimi into the Sun. This is a big deal, a one-a-year transit, and even though Jupiter was in Cancer in 2013-2014, there was no cazimi in Cancer, and the last time there was one was 2002 in July. This is some big water, my friends, where intuition is turned up high, and feelings will become apparent.
The next day there is a New Moon in Cancer conjunct Jupiter on Wednesday June 25th. This is a bigger deal. A huge expansion, dilation of intuitive caring, knowledge, belief related to family, home, private life, sense of foundation and rootedness. New Moons are times when we do intentions because we hit the place of the infinite within them, they crack open eternity. So with Jupiter here– the great benefic– we find ourselves with a large social expansion, we are all getting an upgrade and it’s happening in our emotional systems. We can give nurturing, safe warmth, we can create safe containers, we can make sure everyone is OK. The new Moon makes a sextile to Mars in Virgo, and square to Saturn and Neptune in Aries. This blessed seed of emotional healing and protection– that we plant through our own intention into the future of the world– will be initiated by our need to serve, and the identity we are discovering and committing to.
This is a powerfully blessed day. It is a day to have faith, believe, to expand. This is a day wish for what you want for your family, and extended family. Our wishes, our intentions, our beliefs are powerful creators. We don’t name or really conceive of how powerful we are, as just ourselves. We get caught up in so much sauce, and forget the power and beauty of just an intention. This is a blessing from the mother: our great ancestor.
You can’t get this wrong, except to get locked in the details. Trust yourself, trust your knowing, and trust what is sacred. Your wish is in your being. Just as it is for every beast, every plant.
Shortly after this, Mercury will move into Leo on Thursday June 26th making us more focused on how we lead and what parts of us need to be seen: potentially– drama will ensue. Leo is heart-led, and there is a lot of water work being done at this time, so feelings will run hot with Mercury's reason in this placement. We all have to look into how we see ourselves. We have to acknowledge and see ourselves before we can be seen by others. A few days later, Leo Mercury enters his pre retrograde shadow to start showing us where we need to work on ways of thinking and moving in the world.
Get ready, because July is going to be lit!
Change is on the menu, and it’s the main ingredient of everything we do. That’s scary, it’s hard, but it’s also thrilling, fun and enjoyable. At any rate, it won’t be boring!
