Astrology Transits For The Rest of September: New Energy Has Entered The Building

Eclipse blessings!
The energy of the eclipse portal brought us into an analysis of who we serve, how we serve. We have recognized patterns that may not be serving us and we have started anew. New energy has entered the building. How did that play out for you?
I found myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually tired for those two weeks. I just couldn’t get enough sleep. My body normally pulls me back up-- around 10pm-- for creative time but not in that eclipse portal. I also have tendonitis in my foot (Pisces) and had to deal with a healing process that takes time, while doing my life. Some lessons about my physical self and how I take care of that self, were hot topics for me. The Moon is really related to our bodies, and connected to our maternal ancestral line of the body. In my case the Moon rules my chart- so I am doubly in my feelings about all this eclipse business and getting the full body experience with it-yay.
I caught some lessons about who I serve, and what I serve, and about what my purpose is here on earth. I connected to those I serve deeply in this eclipse season, and that service felt natural and guided. Like I have done this for many lifetimes through my bloodline.
And somehow in all of this, I managed to get a reliable vehicle that is the chariot of my dreams? There is a lot of discomfort and sadness that also came through-- as I am a participant in more endings and beginnings as I talk with people in my life. I confirmed who I am supposed to serve, and I was reminded that I need to remember to take care of my body, because I am prone to ignore it and go deep into my head. This message of including my body in my plans needs to be integrated in my lifestyle. It's an invitation for me to recognize, love, and serve my body’s needs so I can serve the collective. And that sounds simple and obvious, but it’s actually a mindf*ck for me, and I just got schooled with that astrology.
I realized that I need a deeper relationship with my body, and I’ve recognized some patterns of insecurity that reverberate through my days and how easily I lose trust in my own words, value, authority.
Understanding astrology helps me know that as I process grief and decay that there is a light to walk towards. When you plant a tree, you do so knowing that you’ll never see it get to it’s full expression in your lifetime, and yet it will radiate it’s rooted magnificence for generations to enjoy. Mars enters Scorpio (apex of yod with Neptune sextile Uranus)

Monday September 22nd we have the equinox of fall here in the nor/hem and spring in the sou/hem. This is a major threshold of welcoming the darkness (nor/hem) and welcoming the light (sou/hem). Also, it's Libra season.
Libra season on the heels of a powerful solstice will want to balance the light and the dark. Libra wants fairness, justice, compromise, and peace. But Libra can want the illusion of peace sometimes more than wanting peace, if you catch my drift. Libra can be superficial BECAUSE it is diplomatic. It’s got good intentions to please everyone, but you can’t please everyone, just like there is no justice. Libra is married to an ideal that cannot and does not exist. That balance keeps us in line, and it gives us art, and we all have Libra in us. Oh yeah, and Libra rules relationships. You and me. Libra is we. This is an air sign ruled by Venus, so we will be connecting more–for better or worse. Artists are becoming extremely important at this time, with Neptune in Aries but also with Libra season, with Sun, Moon, and Mercury here for its kickoff.
And Mars enters its home sign of Scorpio until November 4th where it is the apex of a yod that is quincunx an Aries Neptune and Gemini Uranus sextile. There’s action on the menu: focused, determined, clandestine forces. There’s divine intelligence, vision, artistry, but the potential for clouded judgement. Be careful in your communications, your decisions, and cultivate trust in your instincts. Mars does well in Scorpio, and that can have both beneficial and shadow effects. Sex drive is high, but so is delusion. You may be very focused on someone or something– make sure you temper your focus with sanity checks because Mars is a little too good at directing its energy in Scorpio. Be mindful of how you are being perceived or received. If you struggle with managing your anger, this is a great time to find a way to channel it: physically moving really helps.
The yod suggests that our actions will decide our fate in this story. While motivation is high, remember our desires are emotional in Scorpio, so it’s a time when we might contend with our shadow. But it’s also a time when our actions can be transcendental, especially with the synergy of Uranus and Neptune.
On September 24th we can double down on what I just wrote because the Yod will perfect but the Moon will conjunct Mars, and that makes for some steamy, or stabby vibes. The Moon is uncomfortable in Scorpio to begin with, and adding the Yod here with Mars conjunction, and there is a potential of emotional actions/ heat of the moment activity. Depending on where this happens in your chart, this could be fruitful, healing, spiritual, transcendent, but it could also be something you can’t un-do. Something that you might regret.
Oh yeah, and that combination of the Moon and Mars, they will square Pluto, in Aquarius. Historically, this is a fraught and violent square. The relationship between Pluto and Mars in hard aspect can beget some acts of seemingly random annihilation. There are questions of power and with this emotional signature, sometimes there are lines being drawn. We dealt with a series of Pluto and Mars oppositions when Mars was in Cancer, so this may be a continuation of a story that hit last November, January, then March. There’s a frustration and with the Moon entwined with Mars, it hits deep. There are challenges to power dynamics, and an initiatory shift implied. Again, if you struggle with your anger, how to express it, or how to contain it, this will test you. This square has some challenges to our emotional selves, and that’s where the action is. Some of us have learned to never express anger, or suppress our feelings as an act of survival. Yet the body holds the anger, and that anger will need to be expressed. This is why emotional literacy is so important. Anger is a teacher but it can be misplaced or projected. If you don’t know your anger, or what it is telling you, you maybe fighting a battle internally, and that is when our actions come out of pressure, emotions, or triggers. That is when we humans typically will mess up. Scorpio is what is buried deep, it’s what’s covered up, secret, or emotionally contained. This fire can turn to steam, and propel.
The rest of the month will fly the kite flying through, there’ s a mystic rectangle around September 26th, and a grand cross on the 30th.
These closed aspects create different conditions, sometimes in parallel of each other that are designed to make us grow. We experience it collectively, but also individually, depending on where the action takes place in our chart and if there are any aspects or conjunctions taking place. Because of the outer planets and their slow rolls, the kite will be a constant-- right until the end. That means there will focus on your personal vision for who you are and your identity in an area of your life, and that will help you direct your energy towards consciousness. In all the narratives that come up, you’ll find yourself in a purification process of how, who, and what you love. You will dance with the void, but also your dreams. This is a highly creative time, and art will flourish. Pay attention to your dreams and visions, because they are the rudder of how high your kite flies.
The mystic rectangle energy on Friday September 26th is brief but suggests a period where everything on the surface looks like it’s working but there are hidden conflicts in the mix. Be aware of undercurrents that may come from a deeper place.
The grand cross on Tuesday September 30th is a short buildup of oppositional energy that can be felt personally. This could be a moment of big motivation and impetus, if channeled in the right way. There is a chance to do some healing with this energy.
All in all, the rest of September will ask you to feel things and take action. There’s a lot of dynamic energy here, and that means you’re going to confronted, engaged, and asked to work on a vision for your identity. You are asked to cast your line out as far as possible-- raw material from the corners of the pond. What are you spiritually in alignment with, and what are you not?
