Hello my friends, it’s been a while since I posted anything! Scorpio season really hit me with a bang, and I got too busy living the astrology to write about it. Scorpio season is about what gets revealed and what comes to light, and boy did I ever get a few zingers in my personal life. I think most people were going through some sort of reveal or issue, and since the US election, enough has come to light to have us all doing some navel gazing.

Here’s my run down of how this week looks astrologically:

Starting with Monday November 11th’s ingress of Venus into Capricorn until December 7th. This is going to be a whole vibe. Remember Venus is what and who we value, and how we connect. This planet is related to our finances, our people, and preferences. Venus in Capricorn is strategic and a bit on the traditional side. I know a Venus in Capricorn that loves crockery and dishware, and who doesn’t agree with me eating a salad out of a mixing bowl.

Venus in Capricorn has a bougie streak; it likes the finer things in life, but it is also strategic and shrewd with money. This fact alone is going to be a nice compliment to Sagittarius season; which is spendy and usually a sinkhole for finances because of its optimism and overshooting nature.

We will probably be putting value on our relationships during this transit, and family (chosen or biological) will be centre stage for this period of time. On the work front, there might be a greater focus on our work relationships and hierarchy. We may feel more confident or headstrong with our loved ones or our jobs. We won’t want to beg for the validation we believe we deserve, and that could cause friction if we don’t feel valued.

On Tuesday November 12th we have a square aspect between Pisces in Saturn and Mercury in Sagittarius at 12 degrees. Squares are frustrating and adversarial– they can feel like annoyance or the last straw. Saturn is the planet of boundaries, time, results of what we’ve done in society, and the work we are here to do. We experience Saturn as responsibility or “adulting” and in Pisces this has a spiritual flavor that can feel heavy. Pisces is the sign of endings, and Saturn is the sign of “no.” When this planet in this sign is triggered, we can feel grand losses, issues with boundaries, victimized, or spiritually empty.

Mercury in Sagittarius is in its fall--meaning that it can get lost in the story. Mercury is how we think, learn, and process, as well as communicate. Mercury in Sagittarius is idealistic, honest, and likes to see the big picture. Whenever I think of Mercury in Sagittarius, I think of the “dude” in the Big Lebowski.

But there’s also a risk of righteousness; as Sagittarius searches for truth, it is notorious for believing it knows better. Based on the state of the world right now, it might be good to think about this. NO ONE is the arbiter of Truth. We are all searching for it, and we all think we know more than others. Wisdom is knowing that we don’t know, no matter how insane some other viewpoint is, we are moving into the Age of Aquarius in a week, and it won’t serve us to be righteous– our survival in this epoch will depend on us as a collective. We saw what polarization did to us during COVID.

Make no mistake. These last gasps of Pluto in Capricorn are asking us to leave things behind.

Mark Friday November 15th on your calendar because it’s going to be a doozy. First Saturn in Pisces is going to go direct. I mentioned the whole description of Saturn in Pisces above, but the days when a planet stations retrograde or direct are usually spiritual neon signs that say “look at me.” In general the work we do while a planet is retrograde is more internal, like we try and sort out our internal feelings, issues, and with this Saturn: losses. When a planet stations direct like today, those issues become outward, they show up in society or out in the world. If we have learned our lesson or taken responsibility, we may be rewarded in the days to come. Saturn is associated with mastery, and nothing comes quick or easy here. But that doesn’t mean we don’t get encouragement.

Also on Friday 15th: the full Moon in Taurus. This one gets its own post.

On Saturday 16th will have “aftermath” vibes from that full Moon: this one is no joke, and those with Cancer (especially Cancer rising like yours truly) and Taurus placements are going to feel this big astrology even bigger. We start the day with Venus making a cardinal T square with the North and South Node at 5 degrees. The Nodes are about our karmic path, the South Node in Libra is the tail of the dragon, and confronts us with our past karma and patterns. The North Node in Aries is the head of the dragon (where we are going.) The mechanism for this energy of a T-square (more frustrating than just a square) is through Venus in Capricorn.

I get into this Venus in Capricorn earlier in this post. We might run into big stuff about our value. We may need validation or get tired of trying to get it. We may have to step out of our comfort zone to get what we want, or to end something we don’t want. With these particular Nodes and Venus, we can be almost certain that all this relationship work we’ve been doing since last summer will factor in. This full Moon is ruled by this illustrious Venus, so this T-square may present us with a choice. Will we repeat past mistakes and take another spin on the wheel of Samsara? Or will we level up and move towards our future karma? Will we choose the quiet and complacent route, and sacrifice ourselves to not rock the boat, or will we emerge with our wild identity that can no longer be caged?

Scorpio Sun opposes Taurus Uranus, and this Uranus was also a big factor in that full Moon a day ago. Scorpio Sun has been digging up the dirt and exposing all the bodies buried beneath. We saw this collectively with the US election– so many people were shocked at the outcome and yet, we struggle to understand one another. This is an emotional lesson for all.

Taurus Uranus is bringing us the unexpected flashes of insight that cannot be planned for. Taurus gets into our food and wealth systems, our hedonism, our basic ideas of work, value, and comfort. Uranus is the planet of change and revolution. The opposition points to– I sound like a broken record– relationship tension and frustration, but this is the kind that only happens once a year. It’s bigger and more disuptive, and it’s divine insight that wants us to get in line with the plight of humanity. The way we treat each other, personally, is a reflection of the world, socially. I can tell you most definitively that is how I am experiencing these transits this year.

This opposition energy will offer more revelation, because that is a function of Uranus as much as it is Scorpio. But Uranus and the Sun are the actors in this drama, Taurus is the style Uranus works in, and Scorpio is the style that Sun works in. What does that mean? We may get triggered, we may feel threats to our security, and these things will reveal something in our consciousness. We may become aware of something we were blind to, and it might be something that will be difficult to process. It may require us to change our ways, or do something different.

We may feel shellshocked for a minute. But Scorpio’s alchemy is transformation, this is all for our greatest good. It might be difficult, but this week is necessary. We are going full speed ahead into the future, and it looks like we’re going to have to be completely honest about it.

Next week we have Pluto's ingress into Aquarius where it will remain until 2043. This is a new world we are building together, and the rules are different. Our relationships with our loved ones, our colleagues, and everyone are the template of our new world, and how we will treat each other. The more we try to avoid what's in front of us, the harder this new world will be. The balance of power is about to start shifting.

Blessings to you and look out for my YouTube video coming out in a few days for more discussion of the sky activity.
